Okatse Canyon Natural Monument is located In village Gordi, Khoni Municipality. The depth of the canyon that was formed in the limestone rucks as a result of the river Okatse flow ranges between 30-200 meters.
At some places, the walls of the canyon are almost connected to each other that create natural stone bridges and the distance between walls is 2 meters. In this Canyon, a 7-km pedestrian trail leads you through the Dadiani Historic Forest Park, a place that feels like walking into a landscape painting. The most dramatic part of the hike is the 780-meter hanging pathway, which hugs the cliff face at a height of 152 meters. This trail offers extreme-lovers exceptional views of the river below and culminates in a 15-meter cantilever bridge overhanging the canyon — a beautiful, if mildly frightening, viewpoint.
Fans of waterfalls will feel overjoyed while exploring Okatse Canyon. which boasts several waterfalls, including the Kinchka waterfall, one of the tallest in all of Georgia.
